Abstract:

The McCormick land holdings in Kitsap County are formidable.  The southern portion is a working Tree Farm harvesting logs for lumber, fire wood and a Commercial Christmas Tree Operation.  The northern portion is where the development of the Golf Course and Community are located.  The Project required development of it’s own water company for domestic potable water and is also used to supplement the Golf Course Irrigation via long term controlled low flow to the lakes (irrigation reservoirs).  McCormick, while in a rural area, is centrally located close to the idyllic town on Port Orchard, Historic Bremerton, the Narrows Bridge (to the City of Tacoma) and the Southworth Ferry (across Puget Sound to the City of Seattle).
