The survey department of Hugh G. Goldsmith & Associates is active in providing pre-design topographic surveying for a variety of consultants. Being a part of a civil engineering and surveying firm gives our surveyors direct knowledge of the types of information that are needed by the civil design component of a team. Goldsmith and Associates Survey Department utilizes Leica GPS equipment and electronic geodetic total station instrumentation in conjunction with data collectors. The information can be electronically transferred to the office computer system and imported into the most current version of AutoCad or Microstation for final drawing manipulation

Goldsmith and Associates survey department utilizes the most current processes and technologies including GPS, LIDAR and aerial photogrammetry as well as conventional surveying techniques to provide boundary, topographic, hydrographic and geodetic surveys.

The department can provide survey reference control for the site land development improvements, including staking for road construction, surface improvements, utilities, grading and property.
