Keith J. Goldsmith, P.E.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Goldsmith and Associates. Keith Goldsmith directs all facets of land development consulting, client relations, and fiscal management. He has the pivotal job of balancing project management with personnel management. He has experience in project management of some of the largest and most complicated residential and golf course developments in the greater Seattle area. Using the state of the art hydrologic methods Keith has engineered major master drainage plans including hydrologic interfacing and wetland and stream resource protection.

Gerald C. Retzlaff, P.L.S.
Vice President of Surveying of Goldsmith and Associates, Jerry Retzlaff manages all survey projects and assigns project survey work, dispatching and overseeing the work of survey field and office personnel. He is the primary contact for clients and consultants when the firm provides surveying services as part of a team. His experience and expertise includes boundary, topographic, hydrographic, photogrammetric and geodetic surveys. He has worked extensively with GPS and LIDAR control projects. He is a registered Land Surveyor in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and is a member of the Land Surveyors Association of Washington.

Brian R. Goldsmith
Vice President of Operations. Brian Goldsmith manages the development of subdivisions, plats and other projects. His expertise includes project management, specification management, water and sewer plan preparation, and contract preparation. He also supervises the preparation of final plats and legal documents for recording. He manages the company WAN, and is responsible for its creation, maintenance and expansion.

Jill Routt
Manager, Entitlement and Project Coordination. Ms. Routt, as Department Manager, leads her team of Project Coordinators in guiding Project Permits through Application and the Entitlement process. This includes; providing input to Permit documents in the form of project descriptions, code compliance representation, and coordinating environmental documentation. This requires that her team work directly with the Project Manager, Engineers and Planners, and the Client, to have a comprehensive understanding of the overall project goals and permitting requirements. Her team's understanding of the relationship between jurisdictional codes, planning, engineering and environmental issues is a complement to the technical implementation.

James D. Goldsmith, P.L.S.
Associate and Senior Project Manager. Jim Goldsmith oversees land development projects throughout the Puget Sound and Eastern Washington. Jim coordinates engineering design, client relations, agency interaction and approval. He also supervises project feasibility and economic analysis, and coordination of other professional sub-consultants. For 11 years he was the consulting engineer for the Cedar River Water and Sewer District and was instrumental in coordinating the District's water and sewer comprehensive plans. He also spearheaded the ULID formation, contract preparation, construction management, right-of-way acquisition, and permit acquisition for the District

David N. Otani A.I.C.P.
Senior Planner. Mr. Otani is responsible for the development of the site plan from feasibility to preliminary plat. In conjunction with the Project Lead and the Entitlement Manager, Dave is able to incorporate Client goals, demographic analysis, site orientation, topography, evaluation of existing infrastructure, community vision, open space and corridors and local development regulations into the site design. By directing other planning staff Dave is able to effectively and efficiently communicate data through graphic presentation. Dave has built a reputation for creating design concepts in a fresh approach. He has been the backbone of the creativity for projects designed and engineered by Goldsmith and Associates for over 25 years.

Hugh G. Goldsmith, P.E., P.L.S.
Founder of Goldsmith and Associates. Mr. Goldsmith founded Goldsmith and Associates, in 1958. During the last 45 years, Mr. Goldsmith provided the leadership to build a land development consulting, civil engineering, and surveying company with a reputation for excellence in integrity, quality, and client responsiveness. He created an unsurpassed vision of engineering design that has helped shape the greater Puget Sound region and as a result he has been the consulting engineer for many land development projects in the Northwest.
